Narrative 1: I was pilot flying landing in ZZZ. The approach was stable on visual glide path into runway XX. I rotated for landing and the aircraft floated more than I had expected. Causes where potentially me starting the rotation high and the aircraft being lighter due to less passengers. I was fixating on landing and correcting what I saw developing by holding pitch or even lowering it. I touched down on the main wheels at or just beyond the last touchdown zone stripe. I began to pull the triggers and pull back to engage thrust reversers for the landing when the Captain called the go around. I hesitated to initiate it and then looked over to see if my reversers had engaged and the Captain took control of the aircraft to complete the landing.

Synopsis: ERJ 170 First Officer reported an unstable approach and long landing resulted in the Captain taking controls.
