These terms govern your use of citadelaero.com as a visitor or prospective customer. They are distinct from the CitadelAero Master Services Agreement, which governs the contractual relationship between JLEC Limited and paying customers. If you are a paying customer, your use of our products is governed by that Agreement in addition to these terms.

1. Who we are

citadelaero.com and its subdomains — including demo.citadelaero.com, ai.citadelaero.com and any operator subdomain — are operated by JLEC Limited, a company incorporated in Jersey, Channel Islands (company number 165488), trading as CitadelAero ("we", "us", "our").

By using our Website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

2. What is on our Website, and what it is not

Our Website describes our products — the SMS Platform and Regulatory AI Intelligence — and our aviation consultancy services. It is marketing and general information.

Nothing on our Website is regulatory advice, legal advice, or a determination of compliance. Content about ICAO, EASA, UK CAA, FAA or any other framework is general information only. You remain responsible for your own regulatory obligations and should take qualified advice on them.

We take care over our content but do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or current. Descriptions of product functionality may not reflect the current version, and features described as planned may change or not ship.

Prices shown are indicative list prices exclusive of tax. The terms of any purchase are those of the order form and the Master Services Agreement.

3. Access

We make our Website available free of charge and do not guarantee it will be available uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.

You are responsible for the arrangements necessary to access our Website, and for ensuring that anyone accessing it through your connection is aware of these terms.

4. Intellectual property

We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in our Website and its content. They are protected by law. You may view, download and print content for your own internal business use in evaluating our products and services.

You must not use any part of our content commercially without a licence from us, and you must not alter it or separate it from any accompanying text. Our status as author must be acknowledged.

"CitadelAero" and our logo are our trade marks. You may not use them without our written consent.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of our Website is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: use it lawfully, do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, do not scrape it, and do not introduce anything harmful.

We may withdraw your right to use our Website for a breach of that policy, and take further action where appropriate.

6. The demonstration environment

A demonstration of the SMS Platform is available at demo.citadelaero.com. It is populated with fictional data and resets on a recurring cycle. Anything entered into it is destroyed at the next reset.

Do not submit real occurrence data, personal data or production data to the demonstration environment. It carries no availability commitment, is not covered by any service level, and is not covered by a Data Processing Agreement unless separately agreed.

7. Regulatory AI Intelligence

Regulatory AI Intelligence at ai.citadelaero.com is a paid product available to customers only. Access to it is governed by the Master Services Agreement and its Schedule B, not by these terms.

Where our Website describes what that product can do, section 2 applies: it is general information, not regulatory advice. Output generated by the product is a draft for a competent person to review and verify, and is never a determination of compliance.

8. Contact form

Information you submit through our contact form is used to respond to your enquiry and to follow up commercially, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential, sensitive or occurrence-related information through it.

9. Links

Where we link to third-party sites, we do so for information and do not endorse them or accept responsibility for their content.

You may link to our home page provided you do so fairly, lawfully, and in a way that does not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. We may withdraw permission at any time.

10. Privacy and cookies

Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in our Cookie Policy.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Our Website is provided free of charge and is not a supply of services for value. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties and terms that might otherwise be implied into these terms, including by the Supply of Goods and Services (Jersey) Law 2009.

Nothing excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and because our Website is provided free of charge, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of it or reliance on its content — including loss of profit, business, goodwill or data.

This section does not limit our liability to customers. Liability under a paid contract is governed by clause 14 of the Master Services Agreement, which contains its own regime.

12. Viruses and security

We do not guarantee that our Website is free from viruses. You are responsible for configuring your own technology and using your own virus protection.

You must not misuse our Website by knowingly introducing anything malicious, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any server or database connected to it. Report a suspected vulnerability to security@citadelaero.com — our Acceptable Use Policy sets out how to test in good faith.

13. Changes

We may amend these terms at any time by updating this page. Check it when you visit. The version in force at the time of your visit applies.

14. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of Jersey, and the courts of Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Our other documents

If these terms conflict with the Master Services Agreement, that Agreement prevails in respect of our products and the relationship with a customer.
