Modules

The whole SMS on one screen

Dashboard

A management and safety-performance dashboard that pulls indicators and outstanding work from across every module into one capability-driven view — with an Organisation / My work toggle so the same screen serves both the accountable manager and the individual.

What's included

  • Organisation and My work toggle — board-level overview or a personal worklist from one screen
  • Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) aggregated automatically from across the platform
  • Capability-driven — each person sees exactly the metrics their permissions allow
  • Open actions, overdue items, audits, risks, and training currency surfaced side by side
  • Drill from any metric straight into the underlying records
  • Always live — every figure reflects the current state of the platform, not a stale snapshot

Roadmap

What has shipped, what is next, and what we are still thinking about.

Grouped by horizon rather than by date. Only the first group is in production; the rest is direction, and priorities move with operator feedback and with the rules.

In development

Coming next

  • Information Security module — EASA Part-IS

A complete Information Security Management System integrated with your SMS: an information-asset register, security risk assessments ranked by aviation-safety impact, incident & vulnerability reporting with deadline timers, external authority reporting, a supplier register, and ISMS audits & KPIs — reusing your existing training, document, audit and dashboard tooling.

    EASA Part-ISECCAIRS-2

  • Mobile / tablet app

An offline-first companion for crew, engineers and auditors: capture occurrence reports with photos anywhere, get push notifications, read and acknowledge manuals, check training status, and complete audit checklists on a tablet — syncing automatically when back online.

    Offline-first

  • Operational integrations

Connect CitadelAero to the systems you already run, so data isn't re-keyed — pull crew, flight and duty/FTL data to pre-fill reports and link occurrences to the actual flight, and keep controlled manuals in sync.

Planned

Committed direction

  • AI-assisted safety intelligence

An AI copilot that reads across your reports, audits, risks and training to surface connected hazards a busy team would otherwise miss — and drafts triage, risk assessments and safety bulletins for you. Every suggestion comes with the evidence behind it, and is reviewed, edited and signed off by your named safety post-holder. The AI assists; your people decide and remain accountable.

  • Flight Data Monitoring (FDM / FOQA)

Bring flight-data exceedances and event trends into the SMS — automatically raise and link safety cases from significant events, surface FDM-based SPIs on the dashboard, with a built-in crew-confidentiality gatekeeper model.

    FDM / FOQA

  • Single sign-on (SSO)

Sign in with your own identity provider — Microsoft Entra / M365 first, then Google — with optional automatic user provisioning.

Longer term

  • Advanced calendar & conferencing

Beyond join-links — auto-create Teams / Meet / Zoom meetings, send calendar invites, and sync RSVPs.

    TeamsMeetZoom

  • Multi-language interface

A localised UI for international operators. Aviation-standard data — ICAO codes, the SM-ICG taxonomy — stays in your reporting language.
